Well, I think Madi is getting her first tooth (at least I hope that's what this weekend was all about.) Chad and I had a very long weekend with Miss Madison. It started Friday night when I had to get up 7, yes 7, times between 10:00pm and 7:00 am to either put the binky back in the mouth, give her a bottle or just rock her back to sleep. Saturday morning she woke up, but just wasn't my happy little girl. We could tell she didn't feel well and proceeded to take her temperature a dozen or so times of the next couple of hours. At one point her temp read 101.8. I got a little freaked out and called my Pediatrician Sister Kellie. Since Madi was still eating all right and playing a few moments here and there Kellie told me to just keep an eye on her temp and that a tooth might pop up in the next few days. She was sleeping a lot. She would sleep an hour and then play for about 30 minutes. As the day went on her temperature came back down, but she wanted Mommy or Daddy to be holding her at all times. It became bedtime and we put her down in her crib. Everything was fine for the first hour or so until Chad and I both decided to lay down. We took turns for the next hour or so getting up to comfort her and check on her. Finally at midnight my wonderful husband got up with her and took her back out to the living room. You see she would sleep in our arms, but the second you tried to put her back in her crib or lay her down anywhere else she wasn't having it. Chad stayed awake, with Madi in his arms fast asleep until 6:00 am. I didn't realize I had been asleep that long until at 6:00 he came and woke me up because he needed some sleep. Madi woke up when we moved her from his arms to mine. I feed her a bottle and she seemed to be back to her old self, very playful, but no signs of a tooth. As the day went on she had some fussy moments, but overall was pretty happy. During halftime of the Super Bowl I feed her her last bottle and not even 2 seconds after she was done it all came back up. She covered herself and the floor. She has thrown up before and it always very playful after it happens. So, she went to bed (I only got up 3 times last night), but this morning after I feed her she threw it all up again. I don't know if its teething or something else, but I guess we'll see if a tooth pops up anytime soon. For her sake, I hope this doesn't happen with every tooth. Anyway, if you are still reading this I am sorry to bore you with all the details, but hey isn't that what this blog is for???
I would just love a long nap!!! I was going to add another cute picture of Madi, but for some reason it won't let me. It also won't let me Spell check, so please ignore the misspellings...

Oooh, poor all of you. Here's hoping it's a tooth and it pops through soon. Here's hoping her body gets used to teething and doesn't do this every time.
Hope you are all doing better.
BTW, blogger hasn't been letting me spell check, either.
Aw - that sounds horrible for all of you! Hope she starts feeling better soon.
Also, Kristina tagged me and I'm passing it along to you. Just check my blog to see what that's all about :)
