Happy Valentine's Day!

I absolutely adore my husband and tell him several times a day that I love him. I don't need Valentine's Day to do that, but for all the rest of you that I don't get tell on a regular basis how much I love, I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

However, this Valentines Day is special. It's the first Valentines Day that Madi gets to experience, ok so she doesn't know that this day is any different than the one before, but I know it's her first V-day! She woke up with a smile again this morning. I had so much fun dressing her in her V-day outfit and using the cute V-day bib that Grandma had bought for her, so of course I had to take a picture or two….right? Well, the camera battery was dead. I had a few minutes left before we had to get in the car to drop her off at day care and for me to get work, so I ran around looking for the battery charger. Found it, plugged it in and waiting patiently for two minutes just hoping it would get enough charge for just one picture. Well……I got several and she was actually smiling or at least looking at me in most of the pictures. Now, I didn't have time to download the pictures to add to this post, so that will just have to come later. I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day!!!

Madi update……She is really starting to babble. Everything comes out like dada and of course Chad just loves it, but it has to be the cutest sound in the world. I don't think I'll be able to contain myself when Mama comes out of her mouth and she associates that word with me. Still no signs of any teeth, so I guess that episode a few weeks back was something else. She is suppose to get her 2nd flu shot next week, but we learned from Angela that when she took her son yesterday to get his 2nd flu shot that they had run out of the shots without the preservatives. Like she said "My feeling is that there is a reason that they took it out of vaccines in the first place so why would I give it my child if I didn't have to." If anyone has any advice about that I would love to hear it. Madi then goes for her 9 month check up in March. I can't believe my baby girl is almost 9 months old. Everyone told me the time would fly by and I didn't believe them, but it is so true. I feel like I just brought her home for the hospital a few weeks ago.

Anyway, enough for now. Again, Happy Valentine's Day!
