Will Madi ever feel better???

Madi gets over one thing and its another. I am really ready for my poor little girl to start feeling better. I look back over this blog and I think I have written more times about her being sick than being well...

This time it was stomach virus. It started last Tuesday (08-12) night. She first threw up her night time bottle (which isn't that unusual), but then in the middle of the night she was screaming, so I go into check on her and she has thrown up everywhere. My poor girl!! This continued into the morning and so I called the doctor. We went to see the doctor Thursday afternoon. Right before we went to the doctors office my stomach really started to bother me and by the time we left the doctors office I had the most horrendous stomach cramps. If Madi was experiencing these awful pains too then I just wanted to cry for her. Thank goodness I have a wonderful husband. I spent Thursday night on the couch and he took care of everything else including Madi. Friday was a little better for the both of us and finally by Saturday we started feeling much better. However, Madi continues to throw up randomly. She has now gone the past 2 days without throwing up and that's been a miracle. I am really wondering if there isn't more too it.

So, she got over that and now my girl has a cold. She's got the watery eyes, the running nose and a cough. All I can say is that I am ready for her to be done with this day care and move the to private sitter. That has to help right!!!

And with all that we have torn out the carpet and are putting laminate in the living room, dining room and hallway. Between Madi and my cat, Jack, we really needed something new. Now with the hardwood we can just clean up whatever mess may come next.

We are headed back to NY next weekend for Labor Day. My sister Shae is flying in from Colorado with my nephew, Xavier, so I can't wait to meet him and hold him!! So, more pictures soon...
